Biography and previous work

I graduated from the University of Warwick in 2022 with an integrated MSc in Physics.
I worked with the Diamond Research group at Warwick on Nitrogen-vacancy centre magnetometry for use in hospitals as a magnetocardiography tool to better image damage to cardiac tissue.

Current work

I joined the NMG group in Oct 2022 and my research is now centred on complex sugar flow properties. I'm working alongside my industrial sponsor Believe in Science to develop a healthy alternative sugar-free icing which matches the texture and sweetness profile of sugar icings, aiming to lower the sugar content of sweet treats whilst keeping their great taste and texture. Making food enjoyable and healthier!

Personal interests

I enjoy both listening to and making music as a bass player; cooking and baking; gardening; watching 80s horror movies; and playing board games.
